Pine Creek Half Day Raft Trip

Pine Creek is the most advanced raft trip offered on the Upper Arkansas River. The half day touris not for the faint of heart and previous paddling experience is required. Pine Creek begins in the Granite Gorge with a series of Class III- IV white water rapids to get you primed. After you’re warmed up your guide will make a quick stop to scout Pine Creek Rapid and Triple Drop, two expert level Class IV rapids that consist of a continuous 1.5 miles of whitewater dropping 200 feet per mile over boulders and steep pour overs.

Pine Creek Full Day Raft Trip

These rapids, which slip through a narrow and rocky section of the Arkansas River in Buena Vista, are so intense, they were numbered instead of named.

We have a variety of delicious and innovative food options for you to choose from. Transportation will be provided to and from Summit and Eagle Counties for your convenience. You will also receive a digital download of professional photos taken at one of the great rapids on the river. This is our Browns Canyon 1/2 Day Raft Trip with a twist! Experience Browns Canyon National Monument as never before, in a 9 foot raft. These boats hold a capacity of three boaters (including the guide). You will be sitting in the seat of adventure for this trip. This is a high adventure trip, so plan on getting wet!

Browns Canyon National Monument Overnight Raft Trip

After a picnic lunch you will launch from the town of Buena Vista, where you’ll immediately hit Beaver Falls and the Silver Bullet (class III), then continue down into Browns Canyon, where you’ll camp for the night. Dinner will consist of chips, salsa, fajita’s with all the fixin’s and dessert. Following a hearty breakfast of french toast, bacon and fresh fruit, we’ll head down the river further into the Canyon. You will encounter all the classic rapids such as Zoom Floom, The Staircase, and Sidells Suckhole on day two. KODI’s cheese tortellini lunch will be served alongside the river, and you’ll continue down to the take-out at Stone Bridge. Take-out time will be approximately 3:00 p.m.

Big Bend Half Day

Trip Description: Come and enjoy this half day class II-III 8 mile stretch on the Arkansas River. This trip is a mixture of big meandering turns and a couple of introductory splashy rapids. It is very scenic passing through farm land, open space, and forests. It is an 8 mile stretch that ends up in the town of Salida. This section is a great alternative if you have young children or are looking for a scenic, mild float. Combine this trip with our Duckies to try your skills in your own boat and add a little more adventure for the thrill-seeker in your party!

Upper Colorado River Half Day Raft Trip

Take in the scenery on our family-friendly Upper Colorado Half Day rafting trip.

The Upper Colorado River, or Upper C, is located near the headwaters of the Colorado River on the western side of Rocky Mountain National Park. An Upper Colorado Half Day raft trip is perfect for those wanting beautiful canyon scenery and easy-to-navigate whitewater. A popular trip for children and families, the Upper C Half Day raft trip offers mild rapids, spectacular wildflowers, sheer granite canyon walls, and forests of blue spruce and Douglas fir trees. Guides also offer information about the area’s history, flora, and fauna. As a bonus, when the river is low, you might take a short excursion to natural hot springs!
Please bring closed-toe shoes or water sandals (strap around the ankle), rain jackets, hats, and shades when rafting the Upper Colorado River. Also, wetsuits, booties, and splash tops are not available for rent on this raft trip because the Upper Colorado tends to be warmer than the rest of our raft trips and there’s little chance you’ll get wet from the rapids. Also, no blue jeans!
